Jason (Jisong) Chen: Software Engineer
Jason is a software engineer for VeRSI. His duties are to develop eResearch software solutions for the life sciences community.
Jason comes with extensive experience in Java programming and software development. In the Monash University School of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine he was involved in developing a patient/client data program for psychology testing. He has worked for an educational software company in New Zealand developing the multimedia annotating component for online learning technologies. Jason also has many years of teaching experience in web related technologies, life science and mathematics.
Jason is a PhD candidate at the School of IT at Monash University. Before relocating to Melbourne, he studied at Massey University in New Zealand. While there he gained an MSc in Computer Science (first class hounors) and a Diploma in Computer Science. Jason also holds a BSc in Biology from Fujian Normal University in China.
