VeRSI Governance
VeRSI is funded by Multimedia Victoria, based on the initial proposal, funded in 2006, and the second phase proposal, funded in 2007.
The VeRSI governance structure is comprised of a high level, strategic committee (VeRCC), a management committee (VPCC) and a Director who is responsible for the operational management of the Program of five projects. The corporate structure is that of a Consortium acting as a non-entity joint venture. The Members of the VeRSI Consortium, initially Monash University and Melbourne University, who were then joined by the Victorian Department of Primary Industries and La Trobe University, are bound by a Consortium Agreement.
