Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre
Through funding from ANDS, the University of Melbourne and VeRSI are working with the Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre to improve workflows and metadata consistency.
The Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre boasts one of the largest databases of brain scans and neuropsychiatry data in the world, holding over 270 publications and their associated datasets, a number which is expected to grow by 25 publications every year.
To improve database processes, VeRSI is building software to automate a number of tasks, namely the documentation of dataset segments; the creation of citable persistent identifiers for unique studies; and metadata capture which will then be deposited in the Australian Research Data Commons.
